iSec is an established private organisation working in partnership with Police Forces across the midlands operating for public safety and crime prevention.
Response Officers are ambassadors to the private security industry possessing the best skills in the sector. Many coming from career Security, Police, HMP, Military or other relevant background finding comfort working in a structured and professional organisation.
- SIA badge (DS/CP)
- English speaking
- Ability to read and write reports
- Experience in a law enforcement enviroment e.g. security, police
- Acceptable standard of fitness
- Radio competent
- Knowledge of necessary law e.g. Sec. 3 CLA, Sec. 24A PACE
- Team player

iSec provide services to private and community events throughout the midlands deploying Response Teams on foot and in vehicle depending on requirement. Town & city centres are actively policed during night time economy weekends, often supporting local Police units. Other deployments such as neighbourhood & estate patrolling, burgular alarm activations, asset protection and bespoke requirements take place on a more casual basis.

iSec Response Officers remain professional and impartial at all times. Multi-faith and LGBT communities expect protection and respect from all iSec staff. Intolerance will not be accepted.
Soon after application a HR team member will be in touch regarding your feedback. If positive you will be invited for an interview on a mutually convenient date. If successful you will be notified via email in due course, and a trial shift will be allocated for completion (this can be negotiated around commitments). Depending on your employment experience you may be offered the trial shift without need for interview. Candidates will be assessed by higher ranks during deployment, and feedback given to management for a final decision.
iSec provide basic uniform and equipment on deployments such as:
- Fleece or softshell jacket
- Overt chest rig
- Body worn camera
- SIA badge lanyard
- Stop & search gloves
Response Officers are encouraged and welcomed to bring PPE and additional equipment e.g. flashlight, gloves, first aid kit, duty belt, defence spray, earpiece, bodyarmour.
